A rock art paintings site dating back to Neolithic (New stone age )and megalithic (iron age) and up to the early historic period (from 4500 Bc to 2AD )discovered in onakindi or olakindi at chikkarampur village. More than 100 rock art paintings with mystic figures belonging to human and pet animal's in different pastures depicted with red rock pastures were found on granite rocks in a rock shelter known as onakindi about two kilometres from chikkarampur village. Another interesting rock art paintings look like a burial site. Another one rock paintings was that of an gograhan place. The granite hillock at many places on it's flat top and slopes revealed evidence of mesolithic and Neolithic tools..............................
