Sanganakallu is nearly 5km from Bellary city  m.id eastern  Karnataka, it is an outcrop of granite hills of various sizes this hill are b/t sanganakallu and kappagallu but it is very near to sanganakallu. As per the study, here we can find civilization,it means,as we know civilization means not living  together it is art of living, preparations for smooth going  lifestyle. Civilization is in 4hills, these  hills are used for specific purpose and all the four  hills are at the four  corner to the site.

Bailmarched Rock Paintings

Boyala marchedu or Bailmarched is a small village. It is located in Manvi talk of Raichur Distric of Karnataka. This village has its own history to introduce. Generally,  most of the villages witness archaeological shreds of evidence like victory stone, triumphant pillars, inscriptions, fort and fortness and temples but Bailmarched has the remnants of the pre historic period that is a quite unique and rare in its nature. Many  surprising facts will be found if the history of Bailmarched is dug up.                                   The speciality of this village  dates back to 5000 BC. Here many pieces of evidence  justify  the fact that the early man lived in this place. In connection with this fact, the tools like a stone weapons pieces of the broken pots; various types of stone equipment  and special red coloured  painting are found  in the village. Besides, more than 15 red coloured painting are excavated. Especially a picture related cognition is truly meaning full.                  Dr. Sunder has excavated these colour painting in Manvi, Bailmarched of Raichur District in the year 1974 under the patronage of archaeology. According to Dr. Sunder,  this place has 5000 years back history. He has  remarked that the hug rocks of this village look like blankets. His research has found many color paintings that are drawn on the walls inside the caves. Many such rock paintings are also found in the south -west part of the place. This place is known as katammayyanagundu. However, the place has an exact picture on cognition of Bailmarched. One of the picture in this palace highlights on the fight between horse riders who have worn turbans and have held javelins in their hands for the fight. This picture also features for the wandering of the oxen and bulls in the middle of the picture. These pictures have grey, red and red soil coating; these types of pictures are found in other caves too. The styles in the picture indicate that the picture do not belong to one particular period but they have different periods. The color paintings of the places are drawn as a eat  stick. Strange animals and birds picture can be found here. They are in shatter manner but man,  animals, birds seem as clear as photographs. Blood mixed colour is used to coat the painting. In addition to it, the changes in the art clearly attempt to tell us that they have been painted by the experts.                                       The  close observation of the colour plantings in these places states that they have exact similarities with the paintings of Badami. According to Dr. Sure, majority locations regarding the picture on stones are found more in Ballari whereas colour plantings are found in Raichur district. He has recorded all these details in his book pre-Historical Period. Here  he says 51'/,  coloured picture are found in 14 locations of Raichur District.                                   I end this article by appealing all for the preservation of rare historical  sites since I don't know why the  modern man is destroying the remnants of pre -historic  period whether he does it with knowingly and unknowingly that has to be investigated. Now, it is a wakeup call for all of us to save the traces of the past which can not be found  in every place. Therefore, it is our bound duty is to protect such historical tare sites since such rare historical  locations have to be preserved for the knowledge of the next generation otherwise, history will suffer in future for not having a proper source.
