Megalithic Site In Devandlapalle (T. Sundupalli)

1⃣ Location : - Devandlapalle or Devandlapalli village. Rayavaram Panchayat. T. Sundupalli Mandalam. Rayachoti Taluka. Kadapa district. Andrapradesh State. Pin code  : - 516129.(13 '58 N ' 78' 53 E )
2⃣ Approach : - It is located on 50 kilometers towards Eastsouth side direction from the district head quarters Kadapa distance from the taluka head quarters 20 kilometers. Nearest Railway Station from the Kadapa.
3⃣Topography : - Devandlapalle village situated surround by hills this village North side direction one of the hill is their. 2.5 kilometers from the village. This Megalithic site mainly located on Pandurajula Gutta or Pandurajula Gollu locally known as PandurajulaGullu. 4⃣Subject : - A complex of 20 Megalithic monuments was noticed and some of them were dolmens and remaining dolmen encircles with salbs the left over monuments dolomend - cists encircles with slabs.all the monuments were disturbed by treasure hunters, every burial encountered with pottery pieces normally black and red ware etc. Significantly, two of the dolmens on northern - western orthostat bearing on the inner surface representations of tortoise, leaf -like structure, human with weapon and sun like diagrams with red ocher and white pigments were noticed. Another dolmen depicted two elephants alongside each other and elephant, human figures drawn in white pigment. unauthor Megalithic sites similar to Mourlabanda in Anantapuram distcitic Andrapradesh.
